BRABUS’ new body kit refines the Mercedes SLS AMG. Focused on carbon fiber, handling and ultra lightweight material, the exclusive sport program features aerodynamic-enhancement components made from carbon fiber, ultra-lightweight forged wheels, an electronically adjustable smooth-ride suspension (Ride Control) suspension, a titanium exhaust system with bypass gate, and BRABUS leather.
For the cockpit of the two-seater the BRABUS interior designers have developed exclusive accessories and masterfully crafted custom interiors. An ergonomically shaped sport steering wheel is also part of the BRABUS customization program as are stainless-steel scuff plates with illuminated BRABUS logo and matte-anodized pedals. The BRABUS upholstery shop creates fully custom interiors for the SLS from top-quality materials. Customers can choose from different types of leather and Alcantara in any desired color and design to suit their individual tastes.
Jim Campbell, new Vice President of GM Performance Vehicles and Motorsports, has reopened the doors of the performance division after being locked down in financial crisis. While we can expect some performance editions in the future, such as a track rated Corvette ZR-1, Cadillac CTS-V, and Camaro Z28, GM is also considering throwing some bread crumbs at their smaller vehicles, such as the Cruze and Aveo (SEMA Aveo Xtreme at top, 2011 Aveo RS below).
Should GM roll with several high performance versions, including perhaps an Impala RWD, Impala SS, or even a hi-perf Nomad, or should they keep their belt tight until money is no longer an issue? The grapevine has a way of listening to car blogs such as this one, so feel free to leave your suggestions to GM below.

Porsche offers its clients more options than a Japanese massage parlor, but the Panamera is getting a little something special, called the Porsche Panamera Personalization Program (PPPP). The package includes a new Sport Chrono turbo, resulting in an extra 40 horsepower (540 hp) and 37 lb-ft of torque (553 lb-ft, 590 lb-ft in Sport Plus mode).
Sometimes factory isn’t always for everybody, especially if you want your ride looking one-of-a-kind, which is why the tuners Anderson Germany created a kit to spruce up the factory version of the Ferrari California. The California’s 4.3-liter V8 gets a 55-horsepower jump from 460HP to 515HP thanks to a recalibrated ECU and new valve controlled stainless steel exhaust system. They’ve also added some electronically adjustable dampers that can lower the ride height by 35 mm or raise it by 40 mm, as well as a set of new light-weight alloy wheels with the outer rim painted in the color of the car, shod in 255/30 R21 tires up front and 315/22 R22 tires at the rear. The entire sports carbon fiber galore with a bodykit that features a carbon fiber-finished front spoiler lip, side skirts, rear diffuser, rear mud guard, side air-vents and trunk lid spoiler. A dark tint on the panes and rear lights round off the exterior upgrades. As for the interior, Anderson Germany gave it some more carbon fiber accents on the air vents, radio fascia, center console(s), door handles, rocker switches and steering wheel.
