To commemorate the unveiling of the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Super Sport, the fastest car in the world, Parmigiani Fleurier created a special Bugatti Super Sport timepiece.
In 2010, Parmigiani flips all the mechanical components of the new caliber Bugatti PF 372 onto a vertical axis, retaining the lateral time display so appreciated by car drivers. In a world premiere, Parmigiani has successfully developed a 90° time setting system – the dial is positioned perpendicular to the axis – by integrating a system of double pinions with bevel gearing. Six sapphire crystals reveal the 337 impressive components of the new Bugatti Super Sport, while the highly tapered profile of the Bugatti Super Sport recalls the iconic form of the lugs on a Parmigiani watch case. via.

If you just can’t get enough of the Ferrari brand and lifestyle then you’ll be interested to check out the latest homage to the Italian supercar. It’s an espresso machine designed inside a racing helmet that features the world famous prancing horse logo. You can lift the visor to make the spout visible and the chin of the helmet pulls out displaying various compartments. At this point its only at a concept stage but we’ll keep you posted if we here anything else on this. Stay tuned!
Porsche has a very storied history at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The company’s unprecedented 16 wins at the 24 Hours of Le Mans started in 1970, with Hans Herrmann and Richard Attwood behind the wheel of a 917 K and the new Porsche Design P’6612 Dashboard Le Mans 1970 Watch pays homage to this legendary win. The watch features a dial styled after the car’s instrumentation, a perforated calfskin strap with red stitching like the steering wheel, the car’s number 23 on the face, a brushed, polished titanium case, automatic chronograph movement, and tachometer scale. The price still remains TBD and only 917 watches will be made. All will include a scale model of the 917 K and a booklet signed by the actual race winners. via.
Bentley and Tibaldi have teamed up to create a pen inspired by the Bentley Supersports and will only have a limited production of 630. The barrel of the Supersports pen is made of carbon fiber just like the interior of the Bentley Supersports with a knurled sterling silver end. The cap features the iconic Bentley B letter enameled into the top. You can only get them at Tibaldi and Bentley dealerships.
