Nipsey Hussle, the buzzing L.A. rapper who has graced a cover of XXL magazine and had a show reviewed in the New York Times, recently shot a video for his latest single, “Feelin’ Myself” featuring Lloyd. Rap-Up.com captured some of the behind-the-scenes action, which included a couple of Mercedes-Benzes, including a SLS AMG Gullwing. Nipsey’s debut album South Central State of Mind is due October 12 from Epic/Sony Records.

Steve Rifkind, the music mogul responsible for the careers of artists from Wu-Tang Clan to Xzibit and Akon, went to Twitter this week to solicit marketing plans for his SRC Records roster. Among the artists on the label are Akon, Shontelle, Asher Roth, Melanie Fiona and the newest addition, Ray J. Rifkind announced the entrant with the best plan will receive a $1,000 and an internship with SRC that may possibly lead to a full-time position beginning in 2011, Rifkind tweeted (Follow him at @steverifkind).
