You won’t want to throw stones at L.A.-based architect Steve Hermann’s latest project that features walls made entirely of glass. Located in Montecito, CA this pad is unlike the typical Hollywood Hills estates. Called the “Glass Pavilion,” the lot measures about three-and-a-half acres, just the seclusion you need to feel comfortable with a see-through home, as he puts it, “It allows you to be one with nature inside the house”. While he originally built it for himself, it’s now on the market for a cool $35 million.
The 13,875-square-foot home features five bedrooms, five-and-a-half bathrooms, a kitchen with a wine room and an art gallery that displays the architect’s amazing vintage car collection. Who says money can’t buy happiness?

Thanks to some pretty favorable sales this past year, the sheiks of the Middle East will have two new toys to play with, courtesy of Rolls Royce. The first, the “Shaheen” Phantom coupe, is named after the majestic falcon found in the region.
If you don’t know Hollywood Jay (Jay Ohrberg) by name, you’d probably recognize a few of his movie rides, such as the General Lee (Dukes of Hazzard), Batmobile (Batman Returns), and De Lorean (Back to the Future) among many others. He is also known for his unusual custom limousines, such as the…
And the Guinness World Record, 100-Foot Limo, featuring 26 wheels, two V-8 engines, a pool, hot tub, putting green, helicopter landing pad, and 75 person capacity.

Jay has set his sights on breaking his current 100-foot record with a 105-foot stretch limo. He already has the donor vehicle for the project, a 55-foot custom Lincoln (previously owned by Ron Paul from the 2008 elections).
If you’ve ever wanted to know how you’d take delivery of such a large vehicle, check out Jay unloading this 55-foot behemoth. This is the 30-second edited version, mind you, as it actually took 90-minutes to get this thing off the trailer.
Jay has until this coming March (2011) to complete the new limo, which is when the next edition of the Guinness World Records comes out.
