Images of the 2010 BMW 5 Series have surfaced onto the internet.  In addition to some of the cosmetic changes that come with the updated model, some of the expected updated technology features include an updated iDrive, FlexRay processing, electro-magnetic handbrake, HUD and active steering. The vehicles size is expected to be slightly bigger, wider and longer and it will include a new double-clutch gearbox with 7-speeds. The engines featured in the 5-series will be the 3.0 liter twin turbo petrol, 2.0-liter twin turbo diesel, the hybrid and the 4.4-liter twin turbo V8.
