Motorcycle of the Future?

The future is definitely now for motorcycles! Say hello to the Zero X. Its an all-electric motocross motorcycle with a 23-horsepower motor that can hit 57-mph and weighs the equivalent of your high school fighting weight (140 lbs). You can get one of these bad boys right now for about $7,500. If you like what you see there’s a street version that’s due out next year and its supposed to be even faster! The bike’s power comes from a proprietary li-ion battery that gives you about 2 hours of drive time. The battery weighs 40-lbs. and recharges in about 2 hours using any household plug. The bikes are built in a factory near Santa Cruz, Ca. and the goal is to produce 300 bikes a month by next summer. 127 have already been sold and there are another 77 on the waiting list.
