This car looks to good to be true. It’s a stunning machine and it’s the Lexus LF-A. But this car has endured a strange ride on the road to nowhere. Here’s what I mean, the car quickly evolved from a concept to prototype to production model to……nothing? WTF? Well, the problem is that Toyota is having issues with the $225,000 production cost that makes this car unprofitable. At this point the LF-A remains in the development stage. The F in the car’s label refers to it’s status as a vehicle being developed through a program that falls outside the normal Lexus engineering and development process. The car is powered by a 5 cylinder V10 engine that cranks out over 500-hp and speeds above 200-mph. The car’s body shape and features are different from the usual models by the Toyota owned luxury line. For now, car enthusiasts can only hope that this supercar can graduate out of concept status and into production soon!
