New Images of the Ford Focus RS

The Ford Focus RS made its second European appearance at the Paris Motor Show and here are some fresh shots of this ride. Ford gave the Focus RS an “Ultra Green” paint job making it hard not to notice. The vehicle is powered by a turbocharged Duratec 2.5L five-cylinder that pumps out 300-hp and 325 lbs-ft of torque. The RS is the fastest Ford ever built in Europe with a 0-60 time of less than six seconds. The car also has front wheel drive instead of all-wheel drive. No pricing is available on the car at this moment but Ford of Europe reports that they have already sold 1,000 units. What might surprise you even more is that 40 percent of those who have signed up to get this ride have requested that they get it in the same green color that was used for the model pictured. Some of the other colors available are “Electric Blue” and “Frozen White”. Maybe their getting the names of their colors from Crayola Crayons? Anyway, you can look for the new Focus RS in Europe at some point next year.
