World’s Fastest “Street Legal” Sedan

The battle continues between German tuning heavyweights Brabus and G-Power to produce the world’s fastest “street-legal” sedan. G-Power drew first blood when it revealed its 225-mph Hurricane M5 based on the BMW M5. Brabus then answered when it released the Rocket, based on the Mercedes CLS, with a twin turbo V12 that maxed out at 227-mph. Now G-Power has unveiled its new Hurricane M5 ‘RS’ and reclaimed the title for world’s fastest “street-legal” sedan. The new Hurricane RS is powered by a 750hp engine that posted a 228 mph speed at its test track. The car gained an additional 20 horses of power by increasing the boost levels on the turbochargers.
