Alpine reveals iPod Digital Media Station
Alpine has unveiled its newest car audio innovation called the iXA-W404. It’s a touch-screen unit that is very similar to the iPhone and iTouch which provides customers a familiar experience when controlling their car audio system. It is a dedicated iPod receiver that does not have a CD/DVD drive. It has an AM/FM tuner and a high speed USB input for iPod/iPhone connectivity. Amongst it’s many different features some highlights includes the touch-screen that displays the album art of the current song being played, the names of the next two songs to be played and the most recent songs played. You can choose your songs from an alphabetical list like the iPod or by looking through the album cover art that is like Apple’s Cover Flow. The unit will be available this April and is priced at $550.
