Hurst Turbocharged Redline Series V6 Camaro
Every now and then the V-6 crowd is thrown a bone in the form of a high performance option vehicle, and Hurst is opening up the 3.6-liter Chevrolet Camaro RS to the tune of 360 horsepower and 320 lb-ft of torque thanks to a set of 40th Anniversary Redline Series BFGoodrich Radial T/A’s. Oh, I should also mention the tires are probably getting a little help from the remote-mounted turbocharger clamped to the Hurst dual exhaust. This will be the first time in history a turbo system has been indoctrinated into the Hurst performance vehicle lineup.
Hurst Performance introduces Hurst Garage
Hurst Performance has opened up their Hurst Garage, the newest addition to Hurst Headquarters in Southern California, where customers can personalize their cars with one-of-a-kind Hurst components. Clients will also receive a unique, individually signed, dash-mounted plaque and certificate of authenticity recognizing the vehicle as being Hurst Factory Modified.
Hurst Garage technicians will begin by offering tailored customization options to current model Camaro, Mustang and Challenger owners. Other vehicle models will be welcomed in the near future, as well. The very same Hurst technicians who design, test and build the limited edition Performance Series vehicles are responsible for the work done at the Hurst Garage.
Hurst Pits Ford Against Chevy with Mopar in the Middle for the Ultimate Musclecar Match Up
Hurst Performance will be unveiling two amazing cars at this year’s SEMA Show in Vegas. The double-reveal will showcase the first-ever Hurst SUPER COMP/PLUS Camaro and the PERFORMANCE SERIES Hurst/Mustang.
The SUPER COMP/PLUS Series Camaro is finished in one of Hurst’s best bad-boy color combos; radiant red with real painted graphics in gloss black with gold striping. These cars are available in both manual or automatic and feature an exclusive Hurst/Magnuson Supercharger, Hurst Competition/Plus shifter with a HARD-DRIVE shift handle and a Hurst AIR-SPEED body-color spoiler. The Eibach suspension and polished stainless-steel Magnaflow cat-back exhaust system deliver the sound and performance to match its attitude. A signed Certificate of Authenticity is provided to complete the car’s provenance and guarantee that it is truly one-of-a-kind.
The PERFORMANCE SERIES Hurst/Mustang Series 4 car will be available in coupes or convertibles with only 50 of each color being built. The car being unveiled at SEMA will be painted a stunning white, with black and gold Hurst PERFORMANCE SERIES graphics, 20” black chrome forged wheels shod with BF Goodrich KDW Performance Tires. The impressive list of performance hardware includes a Roush Supercharger, Hurst/Wilwood Performance Brakes, Hurst/Eibach coil-over suspension and sway bars, Hurst/Magnaflow stainless Steel exhaust and a new front spoiler. Inside, the centerpiece is the legendary Hurst Competition/Plus manual shifter with a gold-anodized HARD-DRIVE shift handle. The Hurst/Katzkin graphite grey leather interior with perforated seat inserts, contrast stitching and Hurst logo embroidery is complimented by the logo floor mats and a sequentially numbered interior dash plaque.
Both the Hurst SUPER COMP/PLUS Camaro and the PERFORMANCE SERIES Hurst/Mustang will be sold exclusively by Hurst Authorized Dealers.

BFG/Hurst Mustang: Official Ford Racing Mustang Challenge Pace Car
Hurst Performance Vehicles has partnered with BFGoodrich Tires to create a very special supercharged 2010 Mustang convertible to serve as the official pace car for the Ford Racing Mustang Challenge event held at Miller Motorsports Park. The BFGoodrich/Hurst Mustang pace car will debut at the last Ford Racing Mustang Challenge race of the season on Sept. 19. The BFGoodrich/Hurst Mustang Pace Car features 20-inch BFGoodrich g-Force T/A KDW tires for maximum performance and attitude; 20-inch Hurst polished, forged aluminum wheels and a Hurst Competition/Plus short-throw shifter with a gold anodized T-handle.
The engine boasts 435-horsepower and 400 lb.-ft. of torque, courtesy of the ROUSH Supercharger, Magnaflow stainless-steel exhaust and a K&N Air Filter. With a Hurst-tuned Eibach Suspension, coil-over adjustable shocks, springs and sway bar, this car is sure to keep people straining just to see it zoom by. Other signature Hurst details include: a traditional Hurst white on gold paint scheme, Katzkin white on black interior with gold detailing, Hurst-logoed floor mats and a Hurst AIR-SPEED rear deck spoiler.
After its run with the Ford Racing Mustang Challenge, this unique and highly-collectible Pace Car will make special appearances at numerous race tracks, car shows, parades and even SEMA, before being auctioned for charity in January 2010 that will benefit the the newest Victory Junction Camp in Kansas City, KS to enrich the lives of children with chronic medical conditions or serious illnesses.
