Updated: Nike VAULT @ The Staple Center
Tuesday night, Nike hosted a VIP opening of the Nike VAULT, their new retail space celebrating Kobe Bryant and Nike Basketball. All who were invited had a chance to unlock the VAULT with a key that came with the invitation. Locked inside was a pair of signed Kobe Bryant sneakers.
DJ and MC for the night was DJ Skee. A couple notable VIPs included Mibbs of Pac Div and ESPN SportsCenter anchor, Stan Verrett. This unique retail experience equipped with NikeID customization will be open to the public starting Friday August 6, 2010.

Recap: (Nike) RED Presents: “Lace Up, Save Lives”
This past Saturday (Nike) RED presented the “Lace Up, Save Lives” concert at The Montalbán in Hollywood. The concert was open to teens who brought their school ID and purchased a $4 pair of (Nike) RED shoelaces. The day featured live performances from Grammy Award Nominee, Fabolous, The All-American Rejects, Pac Div, Asher Roth, 4 Year Strong and Melanie Fiona. Between performances Jeff Garcia from Power 106 and DJ Rashida from America’s Best Dance Crew kept the crowd going.
(Nike) RED Presents: “Lace Up, Save Lives” Benefit Concert at the Montalbán
Tomorrow, Nike will present the (Nike) RED “Lace Up, Save Lives” concert at The Montalbán in Hollywood from 4pm-6pm. The event will feature a mash-up benefit concert for teens with an all-star line-up including Fabolous, The All-American Rejects, Pac Div, Asher Roth and many special guests. Nike is partnering with (red) to create shoe laces to help raise money and awareness about HIV in Africa. All profits from the sales of the RED shoe laces will go back towards the campaign. For entry into the event, teens must bring their High School ID and donate $4 to Nike (red) – in return, they will receive a pair of (Nike) RED laces.

2009 Los Angeles DUB Show Recap!
For the past nine years, DUB has put car culture on the map with our yearly car and concert tour, and this year’s Monster Energy 2009 DUB Show Tour L.A. kickoff on Sunday, March 22 at the Los Angeles Convention Center proved that even through a recession, automotive enthusiasts and DUB fans, alike, wouldn’t miss out one of the most highly anticipated events of the year. More than 26,000 show goers experienced the excitement and entertainment that the Tour offers each year.
Hundreds of the hottest custom cars were parked bumper to bumper across the convention center floor from bikes to tricked-out sport compacts – monster trucks to millions of dollars-worth of luxury and exotic rides. Music blared from every corner of the massive hall from the various sponsor and exhibitor booths, while the diverse crowd, comprised of all ages, walked the aisles practically shoulder-to-shoulder, given the amazing turnout of over 26,000 attendees.
